Agricultural Land to Domestic Garden
- Location – Steventon, South Oxfordshire
- Budget – £60,000+
- Timescale – 12 weeks
Working closely with garden designer Sarah Naybour, we had the privilege of completing a garden build in Steventon in the summer of 2017.
After planning permission had been granted to turn the agricultural land into a domestic garden, worked commenced. The specification of this garden was complex; it needed to complement the natural surroundings and be suitable for the family who live there and their four young children to play, entertain and explore.
The build comprised a patio area of London Stone Kota Brown Limestone at 65m2, 3000m2 of turf and 900m2 of wildflower meadow grass supplied by Harrowden Turf.
Complete with children’s play tunnels and a vast variety of plants, this garden was a delight to build. It wasn’t without it’s challenges; the land was unusually wet for July and made the ground a marsh land! However, with our team of skilled and knowledgable landscapers, the project was finished to our exacting high standards and we are extremely proud of the finished space.
